Get started
Quick start
Create your workspace, invite your team, bring in your clients and send the first document request.
This page takes a new firm from sign-up to its first working day in Claister. Each step links to the page that explains it in full.
Create your workspace
- Open the sign-up page, enter your email and confirm it with the code we send you.
- Fill in your profile: your name, a username and a phone number, so the team behind Claister can reach you if something goes wrong.
- Name your firm and add its logo if you like. The country and the currency come with your edition, so you are not asked for them.
- Say how many people work in the firm. If you work alone, you skip invitations.
- Add your colleagues' emails and press Create and invite, or Create workspace to invite them later.
The last screen offers to bring your clients in straight away. Press Upload a file to import a list, or Open workspace to do it later.
Bring in your clients
A spreadsheet, a CSV or an export from your CRM or 1C is enough. On Clients, press Import and choose the file. Claister matches its columns by their names and values, shows you the matches and the rows it would skip, and imports only after you confirm. To add one company by hand, press New client. See Clients.
Describe the work that repeats
Payroll, VAT returns, monthly closing: describe each once on Recurring with Add recurring task, choose the clients you do it for, and Claister creates their tasks every cycle. See Recurring work.
Ask for documents
On Documents, open Requests and press New request. List what you need, set the date you need it by and send it. The client uploads through the portal and you see what is still missing. See Documents and requests.
Invite your clients to the portal
Open a client, go to its Portal tab and press Invite to portal. The person gets a link that is valid for seven days. See Client portal.
Start each day on Home
Home lists what needs you: a client's unanswered message, a document that arrived for a request, a task due today. Every card has the one step that moves it on.
