# Messages

Clients' Telegram chats, email, portal conversations and team chats in one inbox, with private notes for the team.

**Messages** brings every conversation together. Across the top are the channels: **All**, **Team**, **Telegram**, **Mail** and **Portal**, each with the number of messages waiting in it.

## Connect your channels

- **Telegram**: connect your own Telegram account in **Settings** → **Telegram** by scanning a QR code. You choose which chats and groups belong to which client, and their history comes over.
- **Email**: connect a mailbox in **Settings** → **Email**. Client letters and replies to your requests land in the inbox.
- **Portal**: nothing to connect. Every portal conversation is here.

## Reply or leave a note

The message box has two modes. **Message** goes to the client. **Note** stays inside the team, on its own colour, and the client never sees it. Right-click or long-press a message for its menu: reply, reply in a note, edit, create a task from it or copy it.

Photos and files in a chat open in place. Press **Save to documents** to keep one in the client's documents for the right month.

## Who sees a chat

A Telegram chat belongs to the colleague whose account it is. Owners and admins decide what the team may see, and the account's owner can share a chat with a colleague. The thread's menu shows who has a chat and lets you share it.

## Team chats

**Team** holds chats between colleagues: one to one or in groups, with files. They never leave the firm.
